I have £20k...

Hello!

One of my first posts..but anyway...

I'm 24 and have £20k in the bank. I already have a house, have a couple of cars and I'm pretty comfortable financially.

I'm looking for opportunities to invest my money to make more.

I am of course aware that it's not always that easy, but 5 years ago whilst at uni when I barely had a penny to my name I managed to think of a multitude of money making ideas, which required financial backing that I simply didn't have at the time. Now I have the cash my investment juices don't appear to be flowing quite the same.

I'm not necessarily looking for a definitive "do this and you'll make £10k a year", more just for suggestions from people that might wake up my creativity and think of some ingenious way of accelerating my income.

I've tried my hand at the stock markets and made a little there, but I haven't really got the time when the markets are open to be trading due to the hours of my normal job. In fact I wiped out a little of my profit recently simply because I couldn't sell my shares quickly enough!

Any advice, positive or negative is welcome.

Thanks in advance!

My bad, evidently I didn't look through the different sections particularly thoroughly.

I'll take a look through there, thanks!

To be honest I think they do kind of cross over each other, just wanted to add that if it's creative ideas you are looking for why not pick up a few motivation books?

Personally my two fav's atm are Black Hole Focus & Duncan Bannatyne anyone can do it.. (I must add I went on to read another one of his books and it was crap, but that one is basically his life story and it's really inspiring)
