I couldn't care less to be honest, especially when they are providing jobs which in turn inject money to the local economy.Brooker_Dave wrote: »Do you think it's fair that large companies don't pay tax?
If you care that much then why do you only target your anger towards eBay and more recently apparently Amazon. There are hundreds if not thousands of other companies doing the same in the UK but you are selective in your targets just to suit your own obsessed agenda.
Take a step back and look through your posting history (I don't need to as I have seen your repetitive rants appear regularly as long as I can remember) and you will see that you have a very unhealthy obsession borne out of a need for revenge on the big company(ies) that decided they no longer wanted to do business with you.0 -
No one would ever do the investigation but the chances are that a lot of the small shop businesses legitimately pay little tax and take from the state.
I knew a back street cafe owner who ran it with her sister. They had a really low turnover, so not close to paying VAT, were barely at break even so paid no tax. On top of that they both had families and were claiming benefits for a low income. I'm not begrudging them any of it, just pointing out that it isn't all black and white as the media would have you believe..0
