    can you not bring stuff down to a holding area near to where you are loading the van

    this may require an extra person to keep an eye on things as they are left downstairs

    but this will reduce actual loading time

    Stagger the loading so as someone is coming out the next person is going in. Probably wise and you dont want stuff to go walkies between your trips.
