please help i have tried reading about what to do in the forum but got confused and there are no recent posts so thought id ask for some help PLEASE
i parked my car outside my daughters house which has areas to park and not park painted on the road. i parked and checked all was ok put my blue badge on display and didnt think anymore about it until she came in and said i had a ticket, she hadnt thought to give me her visitors ticket as i have a blue badge. im confused as to weather to appeal or just leave it ...it says i was parked without valid permit or authority and out of marked bay (my wheel was inside the mark but tailgate & bumper over )
PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO TIA x :eek:

Follow the NEWBIES threads but check with your daughter her lease/tenancy agreement to see if there is any reference to parking.
Disabled badges mean nothing to these guys they are just after money by extortion. However your disability does confer extra rights in law.
Come back when you have done this

my daughter does have a visitors permit but hadnt thought to give it to me as i have a blue badge she says the road IS classed as private property though it is a huge complex with 100s houses and flats and roads so i had no idea and she thought my blue badge would still be ok

i have tried understanding the newbies thread ....should i appeal or wait ?? im confused (pos because i have just had an operation and i am taking allot of morphine)

Is your daughter a leaseholder or tenant of a landlord?

What does it say in her lease/AST agreement regarding the parking space you parked in, and the requirement to display a permit.

Do you have (or can you get) a picture of the signs on display? Are these prominently displayed and did you see them?

shes renting the house i will ask her to look at her lease agreement but i may be too late shes going on holiday so may have to wait until she comes back. as for the signs there are some but not outside my daughters house but at the end of the block and over the road where the rubbish bins are and i hadnt noticed them as they are in blue writing

Await the NTK and then come back when you have had sight of your daughters tenancy agreement/lease.

THANK YOU POGOFISH FOR YOUR KIND RESPONSE I DO NOT NEED SARCASM!!!!! AS I HAVE ALREADY STATED I HAVE JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY AND AM ON VERY LARGE AMOUNTS OF MORPHINE I WAS ASKING FOR HELP BECAUSE YOU MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT PPC , BPA ,AOS, PPA, IPC, POFA, NTK etc MEANS BUT I DO NOT!!!!!!!! + I ALSO HAD A BLUE BADGE ON DISPLAY AND I DONT KNOW IF THAT MAKES ANY DIFFERENCE OR NOT
i was asking for some help because on top of just having a very large operation, being in immense amounts of pain, being terminally ill ,i am on very high quantities of morphine, fentanyl as well as copious amounts of other very strong meds and also being sick all the time i found it difficult to understand but please if you DONT WANT to help then please ....... ! it may be very easy to understand and maybe it is as i had said because i am on such strong meds etc & im sure to those that "know" it must be a nuisance us lesser mortals not understanding the 100s+++ posts as you have pointed out there are but had i found a post similar to mine displaying a blue badge & with the same company i would not have waisted my time or anybody else's inc yours! so why waist your time insulting people when you have no need to respond
....and to the very kind people that are willing to take the time to help and not poke fun at me I THANK YOU so much it is very much appreciated
