Iceland have been named best company towork for apparently

whenever i go in they have minimum staff on the checkouts and their staff never look as they enjoy working there.

There was a program about Iceland a couple of years ago, the boss does throw really big parties for the staff and has a competition based on customer service for which the winners in each region receive a fairly significant amount to share amongst the staff at that branch.

there are a few companies on that list for which I know people who worked there, but didn't enjoy their work !!

Doesn't mean it's not a good company to work for - could suggest that the person is in the wrong role, or doesn't suit that company's method of reward.
