How do I delete these icons coz they're a 'little' bit annoying

Anyone who can help asap please? :D MC

type in msconfig in 'run' and unticking them from startup will stop them popping up when you reboot.
assuming its not malware, look in my computer-c drive-program files and manually delete them from there, alternatively go to control panel and uninstall it.
What i always do then is delete any related stuff (in vista search-appdata), use regedit and delete any related registry keys (but don't do this if you don't know what you are doing!) then an advanced search to find anything else it's left.

If you do it the manual way (for instance, you can't uninstall it through control panel) and it won't let you delete it, run 'taskmgr' and check its not running in applications or processes. If so, click 'end process'.

You can also use something like Ccleaner or Advanced Windowscare to get rid of any traces after the uninstall.

  • Best advice I can think about is running a FULL virus scan (might take hours but best be safe than sorry), run a adware and spyware scan.

So if you have AVG or norton etc run that scan and then run a software scan by adaware & spybot.

Sorry its pretty rubbish advice but any advice is better than nothing eh? :D

    Tell me how it goes

..Which is why I followed that with manual removal methods, the msconfig thing has been asked a few times this week so I thought I'd include it anyway.
