Using the newbie letter as the "hirer" of the car

We hired a car, though two of us were entitled to drive it...so I have sent off the letter as the "hirer" which is also an option on their appeal website.
I've left in the section about not disclosing who was driving, yarda-yarda. I was just checking this is okay, though I probably should be checking before sending off...lol
Also what'st he April 2015 case, and being a guinea pig for Parking Eye...because these are the chum buckets who got us this time.
