I am presuming that you contact Universal Credit and advise them of a change of circumstances?

There is no such thing as tax credits for someone moving into work on UC.
Your UC will reduce at a percentage of your earnings, so that after a disregard, a pound of earnings reduces your UC by 65p.
The disregard will vary according to your circumstances.0
