Russel Brand shocker: turns out to be a massive hypocrite

Possibly so, but I bet Mr Cameron wishes he had endorsement from someone who the under 25s follow in their millions on Twitter and watch on Youtube.
If Cameron had got in their first he may well have had Brand on his side, thats how much of a loose cannon the man is. "My enemy's enemy is my friend" and all that.
Calling Mr Brand 'a joke' and dismissing him completely last week may be a decision Dave Cameron will come to regret.
If elections are materially influenced by what each party's position on Russell Brand is then we're all screwed.0 -

Achingly unfunny faux-cockney turd Russell Brand who has previously urged people not to vote, has thrown his weight behind Labour.
Do you mean Russell "I've never voted, never will" Brand?

P.S. Calling Brand a hypocrite might be dangerous. He is rather litigious.:)0 -

Even worse, I swear I can see the time coming when we text a vote X-factoresque.0 -
My bet is, all those that slate Russel Brand know very little about him other than that written newspapers and then probably only as far as the headline sound bites.
He is very underestimated.... I've spent a lot of time listening to his Trews, plus interviews and articles.
He did have a Goldsmith girl friend last year, sister of Zac Goldsmith the very non Tory Tory MP. He is positioning himself into a strong influencing place and manages to get invited onto Question Time for instance.
Cameron will regret trying to pass Brand off.Peace.0 -
Is it likely that more than a 1m of his supporters are registered and follow his advice. It is not going to change the result is it?Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0

In what is likely to be a very close run race every vote counts. In some constituencies a handful of votes will decide the winner.
All parties are after the few votes which make the difference.
Remember Mr Brown and his 'bigot' comment? Enough to see the 'undecided' decide very quickly and it made a difference.0 -

... Labour Party.
Wonder why vacuous 'slebs' back this Party?
(1) They are so rich that even a trashed economy won't affect their, no doubt tax sheltered, hidden, millions.
(2) They don't want others to be able to be as rich as them.
Pointless Celebrities, the most appropriately named game show.0 -

Perhaps because they have principles and do not see the world in terms of what is in it for me?Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0
