Halifax clarity card

I have the above card I got it last year to go to Canada. I have looked on best deals for $C dollars as I am going back again this year. I just used the card to shop last year but I am looking for some cash and this card is showing as the best deal but I do not know how it works. I cannot log into the account either although using the user name and password I had last year.

Do I order online, when I eventually log on, then pay it off right away to get the cheap deal. Sorry to sound confused but I do not want a large bill on my card prior to travelling. Does anyone know a free phone number as it is an 0845 no. on site. Any advice much appreciated.

    It works like this:

    1. Go to Canada.
    2. Find ATM (e.g.in arrivals hall).
    3. Withdraw cash in local currency from ATM.

You then start being charged interest at around 3p per day per £100. So clearing the balance in full can cap these charges.

0345 602 0000 should be the number to call to resolve online access issues.

03459 444 555 seems to be the number to call regarding the card itself.

But they'll look like ATMs to British eyes.

I wish you the best of luck in restoring online access.

Every time I call, they tell me they need to send something through the post, which they do. Then when I call again they still can't resolve it, sometimes not understanding why I was sent something.
