Hey!
Well to cut a long story short I have found a job and I am due to start on the 10/05/15.
However I am due to sign on tuesday the 05/05/15 so should I phone up on Tuesday and sign off or should I sign on then sign off?
Confusing.
Thanks

You should sign on as normal on Tuesday and only sign off when you actually start the new job. You will then get a few days payment from Tues till the new job starts. Until you start working you must continue job searching etc as usual.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

The best piece of advice is - only sign off when you have completed your firat day.
Btw, be prepared to lose 30 minutes of your life doing this as it takes almost as long to sign off as it does to sign on. They will no longer simply ask you when your starting date is/was. They now want to know who you are working for, where they are based, who your manager is and your inside leg measurement.Never Knowingly Understood.
