Very interesting, although I can't see that system applying to Tax Credits or the likes. There would be the possibility of thousands of people demanding a personal visit!

Probably only applies for ordinary tax queries where you were previously able to go to the local tax office but that they are now all closed down.

Since it doesn't say otherwise - I think that it applies to all HMRC queries - be it tax credits, income tax or whatever - has anyone tried using it yet ?
