tax credits question please

Hi was wondering if anyone can help

I receive my tax credits weekly and 2 weeks ago the payment decreased. I have received my renewal pack but haven't renewed yet. Could they have changed the figure using what they hold as earnings before I complete the.renewal does anyone know? Trying to void the madness of calling them if any experts in here can help xx

yeah the income they have for me for 14/15 is more gross however I was on maternity for a period of time so an allowance will need to be made for that. I didn't think they changed anything until the renewal was completed.


nope I havn't received any one off payments and no letters apart from the renewal pack

Give it a try if you really must, but about half the Contact Centres are closed for the BH. The numbers allowed through to the 'queue' will be adjusted accordingly of course.

What did your 14-15 award notice say your weekly payments will be from April 15-16? In the past my notice shows a reduced figure for the following April.
