Charity shops sometimes get more than they need, worth asking.

The last time I bought something from M&S I was asked if I wanted the hanger, when I said I did and could they give me a few extra they were very happy to fill a carrier bag full. Perhaps other shops would do this too?

The clothing section at our Tesco has a hanger-recycling box by the changing rooms. Customers are able to take out or put in, as they wish.

I get mine from Ikea, I got a few sets a few years ago and have gone back recently, they still sell them. I can vouch for the quality- the sets I got I picked up 10 years ago and then another set about 3 or 4 years ago. All are going strong apart from the odd one I've yanked too hard in a moment of frustration when my clothes wouldn't behave! I got the wooden type which do take a little more space but it means my clothes don't all get squashed and creased or all fall off the hanger when I take out a single item.

I buy mine from Costco. A box of 50 for around £9 inc vat. They are a velvet type, nice and slim and no marks left at all whether hanging trousers or tops etc. would highly recommend them.
