Coat hangers

Options
I know the old joke is that coat hangers breed in the wardrobe, but all mine must have then gone off to set up home elsewhere!

I want to use them mainly for hanging clothes up to dry so don't want anything that will leave marks.

Ive seen various hangers for sale on ebay / amazon but with mixed reviews and varying prices. I don't want to spend a great deal, but don't want ones that snap after being used a few times.

Thanks

    Thanks.
Do you know if the dye comes off the velvet if wet clothing is put on them?

I've seen shops with boxes of coat hangers outside with a note saying .... take what you want.

    Thanks,
just followed that link and saw 'Minecraft Hangers' and thought, wow, 'Minecraft coat hangers cool, DD2 would love those'..... however on closer inspection they are things you hang off things. 'doh!'

I've not seen that recently, I assumed shops had some recycling place to send them off to.
Maybe I just hadn't noticed, I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I'm in town.

Not sure but very possible. They tend to come in bright colours so it's a definite possibility.

    Hi AlisonW

I bought coat hangers from amazon and they arrived well packed in a cardboard box.

When I'm buying clothes, I always ask for the hanger but some shops say No.:(

I seem to have a lot spare at the moment but no doubt soon there will not be any to be found..
