Student debt

Options
Hello, I need some advice please!!! I recieved a.letter yesterday from the student loans company saying I owe them over £7000!!!
£2000+ of that is from when I dropped out of uni in 2007/2008, the rest is because they claim I didn't send in a childcare confirmation form in 2011/2012 which I never recieved a letter about!!!
I'm extremely confused how they can demand money from me from almost 9 years ago when it was never mentioned in 2011, and how they can claim for the childcare that I've never recieved a letter about!!! I have changed address but not until December 2013 so they had plenty of time to let me know so I could rectify the situation!!!
Any advice would be great as I don't really have 7 grand floating around!!!
Thanks!!

Ring them and talk to them!

I owed £1200 after leaving university half way through my final year, and restarting the year again in September.

They let me pay nothing until I graduated, then I paid £20 for 6 months, before I opted to increase this to £100 to get rid of the debt.

Don't just ignore it, talk to them!
