AMEX Supplementary Card Application

My wife has just applied for the Amex Platinum Cashback card as a replacement for the Capital One card.

The application was accepted but re the supplementary card it said "a note will be put in the post re this in the next 10 days".

Is this likely to be a rejection for the extra card? We both have a spotless credit record so there is no reason to be rejected.

We got exactly the same message with the Preferred Rewards Gold - both cards turned up a couple of days later. So you'll probably be fine!

Wife just phoned them to ask and it was approved ok so adios Cap One!:beer:
