Hi guys, I'm new in this forum, sorry for my English. I will try to tell you my problem short.
Me and my partner we applied to buy a new house with help to buy. Everything went smoothly, we exchanged the contracts and just had to wait for complition date to make a last payment and collect the keys.
Now the problem we have is that property was not ready in time, because of builders fault, it's two months delay.
We already had a mortgage offer and if the property had been ready in time there would have been no problem.
Because the property wasn’t ready in time, we have had to ask Santander to extend the offer, and they have a duty to check that our situation has not changed by checking our income.
My payslips are fine, but my partner was off sick for the last four weeks, but he's still getting same amount of money it's just says sick pay not basic salary on his wageslip.
So Santander now is asking: please advise why app2 latest payslips show only sick pay and no basic salary.
So we told them that he was off sick and now he's back to work and next week we will be able to show normal payslip.
Thanks for your help and maybe anyone good advise if this is a real problem or its just a common situation, because honestly we can't stop thinking about this we just want to get it all sorted, it's really stresfull situation..
Thanks for your help!
