Thank you everyone. I will look for a local one to send to her.
  • Sorry folks, but my experience of EFlorist has been awful! I ordered a rose bush basket to be sent to a relative to be planted at a grave on an anniversary. It never arrived! 4 days later they finally responded to my emails saying they couldn't find a florist who could supply the rose bush. My gripe is, no contact made to notify me of the problem and also that they offer choices on their web site that they don't know they can deliver! The order was for within the UK, so I can't see why it was impossible! I won't use them again. Reliability is everything!

    Hi OP,
I have found that the best value for flowers is found by using the net to locate a florist close to your friend's house.
Ring up, ask what they have available and tell them how much you want to spend...and that you want them delivered locally.
This has worked really well every time I've done it, and usually the delivery is very quick as you have chosen a local company. If there are a few choices of florist, you can read reviews online. Hope that helps.

I'd like to second this idea, I've always found that doing this produces very good results with the added advantage that you can discuss exactly what is available, looking good etc
