Can you recommend a company to send flowers?

I want to send flowers to my friend, as her Mum has just passed away.
Interflora, Next and M&S are expensive, can you please recommend a company thats not expensive?

Also, i am looking for a nice verse to write in the card. My heart is breaking for her. She is an only child and finding it hard to support her Dad and children through this, as well as dealing with her own grief and organising the funeral.

I've used Mr A (supermarket) flowers before - HERE They have always been good and the recipients have been pleased. You can also order via the cashback sites too

Otherwise, if you know the area it may be worth calling a local florist and order via the telephone. May be cheaper as they will be local and won't have high delivery costs to charge or factor in

I have used Asd@ flowers on several occasions, very good value, last for ages, recipients have always been pleased and available through cashback sites. Recently ordered some for in laws anniversary, lady of florist Asd@ used rang me to say my choice wasnt available as she wasnt happy with quality of her supplies. Gave me choice of waiting for next supply or choosing something else. As I wanted them for the anniversary I opted for another choice. They actually upgraded them at no extra cost, SIL said they were beautiful, filled 2 vases and smelt lovely. Very happy all round.

I'm very sorry for your friend's loss.

I'll offer a third vote for Bunches - the last lot of flowers I sent to my mum from them were so good that she asked where they came from, and she now uses them too. Excellent quality flowers that last for ages, and good customer service too.
Back after a very long break!

    Hi OP,
I have found that the best value for flowers is found by using the net to locate a florist close to your friend's house.
Ring up, ask what they have available and tell them how much you want to spend...and that you want them delivered locally.
This has worked really well every time I've done it, and usually the delivery is very quick as you have chosen a local company. If there are a few choices of florist, you can read reviews online. Hope that helps.
