Defaults usually take up to a couple of weeks to drop off from equifax. Its not correct or fair but they seem to be incapable of having them remove automatically on the correct date.
If you urgently need it removing sooner then worth complaining to them and they should be able to manually remove, but if not then it will go in a couple of weeks anyway.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Very similar thread here, which should answer your question.
A good way to know if similar threads have been posted before is to perform a Google search on the MSE forums. The MSE forum search functionality is poor, so I tend to use Google's search operators to look for threads on specific topics - so for this, I typed the following search phrase into Google:
site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com equifax update default slow OR delay
Which tells Google to search:
- The site forums.moneysavingexpert.com
- for all the words equifax + update + default
- AND for either the words slow OR delay0
