Kenwood at Currys

I have been trying for months to find some basic information about my "Kenwood" cooker sold at Currys. Kenwood mailed me that 'Kenwood do not manufacture the cookers. A company called Fisherpaykel manufacture them on behalf of Currys who have a licence to put the Kenwood name onto them. Fisherpaykel can be contacted on 0843 362 1934 however for safety reasons they may not be able to provide you with technical advice. As Kenwood do not manufacture the cookers/ovens, we do not have any training/manuals/instructions for them''
I phoned the tech support no in the manual and was told they do not supply technical advice! Currys refer me to Kenwood and Kenwood to Currys. I was unable to leave a complaint with either company as each denied responsibility.

How can it be legal to sell a "Kenwood" cooker that isn't Kenwood and supplies no after-sales support?

What advice is it that you need?

Many goods are sold under license - nothing unlawful about it.

Legal yes the Kenwood name is licensed .
No law says after sales support has to be provided especially of a more technical nature than the standard guide .

The question was rhetorical. It obviously is legal but why? I would also expect someone to be able to answer basic questions about the product on sale. I have never had this problem elsewhere.

What name is on the magnet, I believe they had someone else make the magnets who the badged them as X.

I've never known anyone who needed basic guidance on operating a cooker.
You turn the rings on, you turn the oven on, you turn the grill on.
The timer probably has a few buttons, press them and see what happens.

Love to know what questions need tecnical support for.
