free listing for 30th April to 5th May

Thanks to Jwil on the other thread, I just checked and I too have 100 free listings. I didn't notice it when I listed some items this morning. You have to accept the offer.

    Some advice -
If you have any listings remaining from the 20 allowed for the month, use them first before accepting the new offer.
I had 2 left of the 20 and I was going to list 2 items this evening (being the last day) but I accepted the offer and then listed the 2 items. The 2 came off the 100!
That does mean that the 2 of the monthly allowance will not be used unless I list 100 tonight!
  • Seems ebayers are receiving the invitation starting at different times of the day, so keep looking.
Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay

Please can we not 'chat' on the alerts thread as it sends an alert every single time. Please set up a dedicated thread for any discussion about the offers.

    Thank you

where did you get your invitation?

I found mine at the bottom of my "All Selling" page, where the 20 free listings/schedules are, it had a button to click to "Get Offer".

Always make a habit of checking your promotions , they sneak offers in there all the time and rarely bother telling people there are offers available. I suspect that's why many people say they don't get offers any more- they are just not seeing them hidden away.

I had a free 100 offer last weekend but due to another imminent holiday decided to put my items up as a BIN with immediate payment required rather than auction them , and would urge other sellers to give it a try.

I only listed stuff that was on relist , some of which I have been relisting over and over again every time I got any free listings- sometimes with virtually no page views at all. This time as BINs I have sold a very high percentage of items. It's really odd, my sales have been steady, and just watching the active listings I had earmarked quite a lot of them for the charity shop due to not attracting any views- yet they have sold- potentially to the first person who viewed them if the ebay stats are to be believed. I have absolutely no explanation as to why this is the case- why would someone not want something on an auction- yet happily pay a slightly higher BIN figure?

I am extremely pleased though as these sales are really making a dent in the piles of stuff I have stuffed in cupboards and have lying around, and it's even supplied spending money for my holiday.

So, for any stubborn items- give BIN with immediate payment a try, you might just be surprised.
