Run out?
Primus Saver Option 2 (at £0.00 per month) is open-ended.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

Do you not have to sign a 18 month contract and pay for last 6 months.
6 months x £3.45p a month = £20.70p. So on average over the 18 months you pay £1.15p a month.
Where as Primus Saver 2 is completely free of charge.0 -

I believe you do, my Mom received a mail-shot from BT, she's with Primus and 1899 / 18185, she was quick to notice the 18 month contract, but only 12 months free, plus with Primus you get 90 mins free, whereas only 60 mins with BT and you can easily go over 60 mins, plus BT daytime rate starts at 06:00 instead of 08:00, so with Primus that's 2 extra hours each weekday of free calls. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Could be the Primus Freetalk Plus 2 tariff - which cost £2.99/month but came with a £5/month (£15/quarter) credit for the 1st year?
I don't know if anyone on this tariff has tried to change to the free Primus Saver Option 2

Don't most internet companies ask you to have a BT connection though?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

If they say no, move back to BT (or whoever) for a month and then back again.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. The TalkTalk, Talk2 Tarriff is priced at £0.00 for the first 12 months and then 6 months at £3.49 + your standard line rental at £10.50
This gives you unlimited evening, weekend and international calls.0
