For the last month or so I have found that whenever I use the phone, the broadband connection is lost for a few seconds. I have tried another micro filter but the problem reamains. Please could anyone help?

    BT home hub?

Filters on all phones? no double filtering, e.g. one on socket downstairs, and one filter on extension?

wireless internet, or wired? dect phones?
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

Thank you Albertross for your reply. No we don't have a bT Hub, nor any dect phones. The router is a Linkys w200g we have both wired Pc and wireless for the laptop. Our setup is as follows an extention from the main BT socket to the PC which is plugged into a micro switch for the router etc.
This problem has only been going on for a couple of months, we have not changed anything so this why it is puzzling.

If you've not got DECT phones then it could be the phone that's the problem - maybe a dodgy switch on the "on/off hook".
