This happened to us. Our original buyers pulled out on the morning we were due to exchange (some issue with their deposit). We were devastated as we thought we were going to lose the house we were buying, but they were really good and agreed to give us a week before they put it back on the market. We were so lucky and found a cash buyer within 3 days (also someone who was buying for his daughter!), but I wouldn't believe it until I'd seen proof of funds. The new buyers agreed to use the searches from our previous buyers, so we exchanged within 2 weeks, and moved 2 weeks later.
Thought you'd like a positive story. Good Luck!Married my wonderful husband 31st July 2011 :j
