Ipod backup

If I backup an ipod to my computer via the 'Manually backup this ipod to your computer' option in iTunes, where does it back up to? It just syncs and then there's nothing.

It depends on what OS iTunes is installed on. On Win 7 enter %appdata% at the Start Button search field which will open an Explorer screen for [username] Appdata. Open Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync and you'll find them in there - a mass of files with cryptic names. iTunes doesn't delete older backups so they can mount up alarmingly and end up using a lot of disk space. If you do want to clear any out list them by date and keep the most recent ones.
