  • This is such a brilliant idea and I problem that I have a lot myself. on a slightly different, but similar note, I am wondering if anyone has an affordable eye liner they would recommend

    Hi ladies,

    Another UU:-

LUSH Holly Golightly bubble bar. This is gorgeous and I'm hoping it gets released again this Christmas.

I also cut open the Clinique foundation tube this morning. Loads of product left inside so maybe see me through to the end of the week.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Hi Amscobie!

What kind of eyeliners do you like? Liquid or pencil? Black or coloured? Gel or felt tip? If you give us some idea then I'm sure we can help :)

(I love the L'Oreal Perfect Liner Slim. It's a fine felt tip so easy to use, is a good deep black and it lasts for ages on me. The pen doesn't dry up quickly either. It's around £5.)

I'm interested in other suggestions though :)

I know it's really motivating me to think twice before buying anything and using up my stash.

Do you mean liquid liner (for your lids) or eyeliner for your water line?

Liquid Liner - a) NYC Liquid Eye Liner Black 887 £2.49 from Superdrug. Really Matte (they have a pearled one too) and lasts all day.

    b) Makeup Gallery Pro Liquid Eyeliner. This was a bit of a surprise for me as it £1 from pound land and it was the product from the new line that was most raved about.

For pencil I'd suggest Rimmel Scandal eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal eyeliner in Black £3.99 from Superdrug. Lasts a long time on me.

Birdnerdsophie not trying to enable but the last time I placed a fragrance direct order they had TBS Shea range cheap! :D

Thanks for the heads up Gemzie121 but I've already got a TBS voucher to use so when I eventually get round to spending it, I will pick up bits there! :)

    Well done VALM and FizzWhizz!

I have one small UU today:

L'occitaine Dry Skin Foot Cream 10ml: Nice thick cream which sinks in well and has a nice scent but I wouldn't pay the price they charge for it! WNB.

    I have a uu

Bare Minerals Brightening Eye Primer 3ml - this is a gold cream shadow base which sets and doesn't budge all day. It is really good the only downside is it is bright gold which limits your eye looks. Lasted an eternity too and I have 2 x 8ml tubes in the stash from other kits.

My Rituals box arrived so I have the following ins

    Foaming Shower Mousse
    Body Cream
    Bed and Body Mist
3 in 1 hand scrub (I will use this as body scrub)
    Hand Wash

There was also a diffuser but I don't count that for this challenge.

I slightly regret asking my parents to set mine aside as a birthday present! I won't see mine until the end of next month. I found a half used mini of the Mei Dao Body Cream in my stash so that will have to tide me over until then :rotfl: I love the scent soooo much :)

I have three UUs and a TA:

Paul and Joe Deep Cleansing Milk (18ml) - this was weird! Not a milk at all but an oily balm. Once I got over the surprise it was really very nice - it left my skin clean and soft and smelt of oranges :D WNB as there are balm cleansers I prefer.

Montibello Gold Essence Amber and Argan Hair Oil (30ml) - WNB. This did soften my hair but it isn't my favourite hair oil.

Pout Loose Powder - I'm sad about this one :( It's my HG powder but Pout went out of business years ago  I don't understand what made this so good but it kept my skin matte and just suited my skin. I'm testing all the powders I have to try and replace it from my stash. There was someone selling the new/unsed Pout powder on eBay but it must be years old by now...

The TA is annoying but it's my own fault.

Revlon ColourStay in Normal/Dry Skin in 110 Ivory - WBA. This is great! Why didn't I use it up when I first had it?? :wall: It has gone off so I have to throw it away. I find this difficult so the fact I'm binning it is progress of sorts :rotfl:

1 UU the clinique serum free with magazine.
4 INS clinique serum free with magazine ... loved it my skin looks so much smoother so cleared my local supermarket!
  • Another two UUs tonight:

L'occitaine 5 Essential Oils Shampoo and Conditioner (50ml each): These were a magazine freebie a quite back and a bit of a pink rose item but I decided it was time to give them a go and I'm glad I did. They smelt amazing and made my hair so shiny and soft - I've never had such good results from hair products before. The only downsides are the difficulty in getting the product out of the bottles and the fact that they are so expensive! WMB in the future if I can ever justify the cost!
