Thanks Paully, saved to card, will pop into local Shell, see if they do vouchers still. Not sure I will be one of the lucky 100000.?It's only with my one card, I have Mbna -amex, nothing about that;
Never come across this deal before on Amex.Prefer Shopsmall, may return one day:j0 -
Thanks Paully.I recall ages ago, Shell garages sell vouchers, and Amex users bought them with this type of offer.Any idea if it's correct?
I bought 3 lots of gift cards today from Shell. 2 on my Amex cards & 1x Barclaycard amex. Need to make sure they are saved on the card before you purchase.
Gift cards I saw were:
Next
Debenhams
itunes
Amazon

These offers are open to both the account holder's card, and supplementary cards held, provided the card numbers are different, right?
I can only register the account holder card when logging into the Amex account online - my wife's. How do I also register my card? There used to be a separate site whereby you just punched in the card number, and that was it.0 -

£5 for £20 spend in Boots
£10 for £50 spend in Shell
£5 for £10 spend in Cafe Nero
£10 for £25 spend in Vue Cinema
£10 for £50 spend at Trainline.com
£15 for £60 spend at Ocado. (don't have to be new customer either)
Quite good offers, not up to the standards of the previous foursquare tie ups where you got free goods, and could load offers onto multiple supplementary cards.
My question is though: Offers are limited to first xxxxx saving to their card. Does the website tell you if its successful or do you have to take the chance that it may save to card but you don't get the cashback because you weren't one of the first xxxxxx to save it?
It tells you that it's saved to card. When you next log in, look under Offers and then My offers rand they should be in there. Coincidentally I saved the same ones to my card as you - they will all be really useful and work out well as I was originally going to close my card next month. Now I think I'll hold onto it for a good few months longer (not only to get the statement credit) to see what future offers they have.0 -
I still don't have any of these offers on my Card, apparently its all to do with it being a new card and not having any spending patterns as yet as the offers are tailored. I was told to add via the card memebers offers site and add manually, but can't see the above offers on that site.0

At the bottom of the home screen there are three tabs, 'Latest Transactions', 'Offers' and 'Card Benefits'.
I've no idea how I'm supposed to remember these 'Offers' or how to get them. Should I click 'Save to card' for all of them, or only if I expect to be going into the shop? Does it matter? I have no idea.0 -

There are limited numbers of each offer that can be saved to card, so if you save to card knowing you won't use it then you're potentially stopping others that may have found it of use from obtaining the offer.0 -
My partner could see all the offers when he logged onto his online account and just had to select which he wanted. He is the main cardholder.
I, having a supplementary card, had to go through
http://www.cardmemberoffers.co.uk/
to select which ones I wanted. This later option is far less frustrating on a desktop than a tablet.....0 -
Thank you for posting the Card Members URL.
I've got an Lloyds Bank branded AmEx and it turns out I can register for offers too.
Thanks for the thread/heads up :beer:It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
