Did you book for flights direct with the airlines? We're going next March and I've been looking at internal flights but I'm finding they're all pretty expensive. The ones you've detailed seem pretty cheap so I'm wondering if I'm going wrong somewhere0

I used VietJet a lot: http://www.vietjetair.com/Sites/Web/en-US/Home
I don't think ever paid more than £20-30 for a flight.0 -

VietJet are cheap, but certainly less reliable.
I've flown internally with Vietnam Airlines and they've always been very cheap too, as long as you book directly on their website and not through an agent.

Pete loving the look of your itinerary. A wonderful country to explore.0 -

Yes, as I said earlier in the thread you have to take their schedules with a pinch of salt. Fine if you aren't in a rush but I wouldn't rely on them if you have an onward flight connection.0 -

- HCMC to Dalat with Vietjet. For 2 pax cost £45.28 inc 15kg each, no meal.
- Dalat to Danang with Vietnam Airways. For 2 pax cost £89.64, inc 20kg, full service [I think].
- Danang to HCMC with Vietjet. For 2 pax £54 inc 20kg, and paid for a meal.0 -

Agree. Relying on a domestic flight to arrive in order to catch an international connection departing on the same day is asking for trouble.0 -

We were in Bali last year from 26 September for a month [1 week of it in Java].
We had our first week in Sanur, then a week in Ubud, then flew to Java for a week, and then back to Kuta/Legian for the last few nights.
Lovely and warm, and only rained once during the whole trip for about an hour.
Liked everywhere except Kuta/Legian, which are both too brash and in your face.0
