I've used them a few times and they are very good, but there are few points to note.

When you look at the stock lists on line, the RRP was the original selling price, not the latest price. As most of the stock is end of line Argos and Littlewoods, they were heavily discounted at the end of their shelf life and were available much cheaper - so the 25% cost of goods is probably closer to 50-60% of current RRP.

Also check the current ebay selling prices, as a LOT of ebay listings originate from Gem-sourced stock. They are one of the few wholesalers that are google indexed, (very rare) and also appear on most of the "Wholesale supplier lists" that are frequently sold on eBay.

Gem sell to the general public - ie not trade only, so you can go in, have a look around the warehouse, check the goods, pay yer money and drive away happy.
Being able to check the goods before payment is probably a bit of a rarity in that market, and the guys that run the place are only too happy to help sort through boxes and load your car.
A lot of their stock is large household and electricals - not the sort of stuff that is easy to process on eBay for logistical reasons, but the clothes jewellery and electronics are definitely worth keeping an eye on - providing you are certain of your margins.

Also look at www.marthill.co.uk in Nottingam - similar outfit, and again I've had equally good experiences of them.

I'm not affiliated with either of them in any way, just a satisfied customer.
