Payday loans defaults but no notice received

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help...
Last year I got into financial difficulty and took out payday loans... I have since paid these in full. However upon checking my credit file I hve been issued with defaults, I did not receive any notice of these and was under the impression a 21 day notice had to be issued before a default was added?
The default was also added after the account had been cleared on one, but they have told me the 21 days of the notice (which I didn't receive) had expired, hence why added.
The second company, wonga! Advised there terms and conditions are clear, hence default added. Any help will be greatly received!

You need to contact them with a formal complaint. Writing preferably.
State that no default was received. Also complain about the default being added after clearing and the BS Wonga gave you. They need to issue a default notice I believe.
If they refuse to play ball, refer to the FOS.:beer:0 -

If it's Equifax they are looking at missed payments are often shown as defaults but their not actual defaults if that makes sense it just the way the information is reported.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
