Home inventory software

Can anyone recommend a home inventory application?
I want it to be able to handle multiple photo attachments easily, which rules out a spreadsheet.
Windows PC, Linux, Android, Chrome could all work.
And it needs to be able to import/export easily.
And free would be preferred to.
A basic flatfile database might do the job if anyone knows a free one that handles photos well.
Thanks!
