    for all you wonderful people who are still helping - the material is polyester & viscose..... so when does that EVER shrink. please don;t give up on us

    Viscose does shrink. That is why polyester, which does not shrink, is added to the mix

    How did she dry it?

    Viscose should be hung up to dry naturally, never tumble dried as this can cause shrinking.

    Oh my, yes viscose does shrink, I found that out and have never bought anything else that has high content of viscose.

    line dried - just the usual 'I've paid a lot and am not risking the washing machine' type very careful wash. To illustrate shop owners' unhelpfulness she spotted a peg mark and enquired why it hadn't been dried on a hanger!! Hangers obviously help stop clothes shrinking. Thanks guys for your help :)
