OP has stated they were driving but Smart have written to the RK. Did OP include their name on the appeal? If so then they have admitted it but if Smart have presumed its RK then the driver is still unknown0

No mention of any name, Smart have just assumed that the on line appeal has been done by registered keeper, they have added 2 and 2 and made 5.0 -

As a follow up, went to the car park yesterday and they have now put up a very large brand new blue sign right in front of all the disabled bays saying
Pay & Display ticket required
No concessions for Blue Badge Holders.
As there was no sign there before, I assume they had a sign problem.0 -
Goes to show they know their signage isn't sufficient. Doesn't detract from the fact their issue is with the driver, not the registered keeper.0
