Hello IWTBF, just a quickie from me. My 'full time' job is teaching Group Fitness classes too. I also offer massage but classes are my main income.
A couple of things. It sucks that you have to pay anything for gym membership at all. All the gyms I work at I can use at least either on the day of me teaching there for free or at best free access all the time. Check this out, and ask more questions.
I wouldn't pay anything for gym membership at all! But then I am a tight !!!! (yes I know too many squats!).
I get the impression you are covering at the mo? Get your name out there, write to all the clubs within a 10 mile radius of you and get on their cover list. Take anything that comes along that you are qualified for and get your name out there. Once you are known to be reliable and liked you will get loads of work.
It is a fab industry to be in. You get paid to keep in shape. How bloody good is that?! And you're dead right, it isn't work at all. I LOVE IT!
In fact gotta dash, got an 8.45pm Balance class to go to.
Good luck!

I found this on the net - see page 2 - it gives a phone number to call the HMRC to find out if you have contracted out

Well guys had a good and bad surprise last night. Got my letter from tax place for car - turns outs its not £50 for the year - its £35!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wicked or what?????!
Went to cover spinning last night and discovered some "lovely" girl has nicked my class next week - and the person who has done it I know well and have worked with before and its not surprising she would stoop so low - am soooo mad  Studio Coordinator is looking into it for me because she says if she has simply crossed my name out and replaced it with hers then its really not on.
Quite annoyed because I'm desperate for the money. :mad:Proud to be dealing with my debts!DFW Nerd No. 634 LBM: 3rd time - Dec2008 I NEED TO BEAT IT THIS TIME!Total Loan Debt = £[strike]13,737.80[/strike] 13,042.44, Total Non-loan Debt = £[strike]5,289.33[/strike] 4,704.45 - Total= [strike]19,027.13[/strike] 17,746.89 FEB 09Freelance earnings - Feb 09 = £260 so far Make £30 a day in Feb - £260.40 of £840 5 NSD in Feb 09 - 1 of 50 -

Perhaps that's the one to start hitting hard first? I get personal about it, I can't believe I took out a store card with 24.9% APR!!! It's next on the hit list.
Have you thought about what order you want to pay the off? I know we want them all to go, but I've worked out what order I can get them gone and hit each one really hard until it disappears. It's like war!Current debt - £16,300

On the snowball it should be my cards first but I just dont like the fact that it goes with the base rate ie with no end in sight! I have posted in the credit card and loan forum about transferring the 1500 quid left onto a 0% credit card to stop any further interest (my mum has offered to do this for me) - I'm just unsure if they will allow me to pay it off with a credit card? and somebody elses at that!Proud to be dealing with my debts!DFW Nerd No. 634 LBM: 3rd time - Dec2008 I NEED TO BEAT IT THIS TIME!Total Loan Debt = £[strike]13,737.80[/strike] 13,042.44, Total Non-loan Debt = £[strike]5,289.33[/strike] 4,704.45 - Total= [strike]19,027.13[/strike] 17,746.89 FEB 09Freelance earnings - Feb 09 = £260 so far Make £30 a day in Feb - £260.40 of £840 5 NSD in Feb 09 - 1 of 50

I would have thought so. But I have never tried it. I don't have a credit card (thankfully!), but I'd have thought you could take the credit card into brance and asked to pay £1500 into your account.
I'm not really sure thoughCurrent debt - £16,300
