Utility warehouse over estimated me after switch, and do i have to pay economy 7 rate

Ok first off not sure if this happens a lot but it wouldnt suprise me if companies try it on. I moved flat and utility warehouse on my final bill after switching put opening reading a day before I moved in and added 50kwh on, also took an actual reading for 12 days and then gave me a final estimate end of march which presumed I would use double the energy every day until then, my meter still hasnt reached their estimate a month later
But now i want to try it and play them at their own game to save a few quid, when i tell them i want an acurate bill.
I'm on an economy 7 meter but i use hardly any energy at night, so i've asked to be put on a normal tarriff with my new supplier, can i also ask utility warehouse to be billed for my final reading on a normal tarriff, i presume the old tennant was on economy 7 but i have never asked to be. wondering more if theres any specifit terms they are to adhere to as to not rip consumers off when theres cheaper tarriffs available for them.
thanks

If you have an E7 meter then by default you are placed on an E7 tariff unless you request otherwise. Some suppliers will total the 2 readings on a dual rate meter, most will not-no idea with UW. If not and you still want single rate, then you'll need to request a meter change, normally about £60.
So no rip-off at all, because the supplier neither knows nor cares how you heat and hot water the property. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
