Hi all, I have an interest in a Grade II* listed property that is up for sale, it has LPG heating.

I would like to replace the dated water heating system with a renewable one - that seems quite possible with solar/PV mounted away from the property going by other houses nearby. However is central (underfloor) heating ever possible, at least on the downstairs? The floor is tiled, eg: http://media.rightmove.co.uk/37k/36455/44001364/36455_WTP01015_IMG_06_0000.JPG

I'm going to assume it's not possible but worth a shot to ask. What other renewable heating options might be available? Google doesn't fill me with much hope , and most of it applies to Grade II rather than Grade II*! :( Cheers.

FWIW, it's not in a conservation area.
