Cheers Discobaby, its amazing how has a leftie or a (cuddy whifter) has my mother and father use to call it, how i struggled to get the hang of trying to use right-handed stuff. This site will come in handy.
  • i love this site

i got a lot of stuff not only cause it was easier but also to prove the point to the right hand bias of the world

no one can use my sharpener, scissors, tin opener, ruler etc so why should i be forced to use their right handed stuff??
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

    I'm a lefty, but I don't need a calendar for backwards people!
  • I am a left handed person and have lived in a right handed world for many years, with no problems. I now have a grandaughter who is left handed, and like me has no difficulties with sharpeners, scissors, tin openers, rulers etc. I can't see what all the fuss is about!
  • I'm a lefty too and proud of it! :T

My mum used to buy me left-handed vegetable peelers and they were useless, so I just resorted to peeling away from me with a right-handed one. I still do even with the ambidextrous ones. Sport was always interesting.... hockey I had no choice as they only had right-handed sticks, most of the other sports I'd try either hand and see what worked best, or swap halfway through to confuse the opposition (tennis).

Generally life in a right-handed world has not been a problem. The only thing that sometime bothers me are cheque books, but then I write cheques so rarely it doesn't really matter.

Hey ho, I'll have a nose at the site anyway as I'm intrigued by the calendar.....

    ;)
  • Just had a look at the so called 'left-handed calendar' - what a load of rubbish! This may be easier for people who read Hebrew or Arabic but left-handers???! It makes my head hurt! Seriously, I'd be interested whether there is anyone out there, whether a lefty or righty, who finds the backwards calendar easier to read.
