Insurance for less than 12 months?

Hello! I have just moved into a lovely new rented flat. However, I don't expect to spend a full year living there - 8 months at the most - since I'm moving down south to live with my fiance. :j Is there any company whatsoever that will let me pay monthly contents insurance and cancel any time, rather than ask for 12 months upfront and/or charge me fees and insist I pay the full 12 months?
Thank you! I was with Endsleigh (personally I don't think much of 'em, though) and need new cover ASAP.
