Hello
We have just obtained via our broker a DIP with Precise Mortgages, I have a history of adverse credit.
We are just waiting to hear back from a vendor re an offer we have placed on a property.
I am interested to know what the full mortgage application process is like with them, how long it may take etc...?
Thanks
Ems

Your broker is best placed to guide you through this and answer your questions. .0

He did say that can be tricky, but I don't mind that if we get an offer at the end!
I am interested in other peoples experiences, just as we are at the start of the process.0 -
As mentioned above, the best way is to ask your broker all your doubts and do not end by having a tedious process. Each company has its times and ways to bring the process.0

I have an application with them atm and they are very tricky, around 5 weeks seems normal but depends on your case. They will go over your application and documents provided with a fine-tooth comb.0

Thanks for ths Cyclone, we want to start progressing with getting documentation together for our mortgage broker.
Aside form the standard documents what other information do they ask for?0 -

I'm self employed so have provided SA302s, 3 months bank statements, proof of deposit and how I have acquired it, tax credits award letter and certified ID documents.
Not been asked for anything else yet but some people on here have had a nightmare with them coming back every week asking for something else.
The problem is once you provide what they have asked for it then takes the underwriter 3 to 4 days to review the case again, so those weeks waiting quickly add up.0 -
We are not self employed so maybe that will be a little bit more straightforward, although my husband has a mortgage for a flat in his own name so I am sure that will throw up some questions.
I really do hate this, things like this make me feel very uncomfortable!0 -
Valuation was yesterday and mortgage offer received today, just over 3 weeks from application.0

Hello
Well here we are not much further on and we today received a mortgage offer. We had previously been turned away from another broker, but did find someone else who took on our case.
The whole process has been really straight forward from application, document submission and receiving an offer.
Really impressed with the speed Precise turned this around.
Onto the next step!0
