I've just received a brochere and pricing a like for like holiday - same area, different hotel and it's coming in £800 cheaper than travel agent.
It seems the flight is a budget airline - I'm guessing it's going to be easy jet.
What is anyone's experience of the company, do they use generally good hotels or scrape the barrel.
Sharm el shrek that's took my fancy, - I'm concerned with being disabled, I do a lot of checking myself re suitability getting around, wondering they would arrange the wheelchair to plane in resort, suitable seating on plane. Thank you in advance for any suggestions / experiences xx

I went to Sri Lanka with them a few years ago as they were loads cheaper than anyone else. We flew with Emirates, & the hotel was brilliant. I'd definitely use them again.
Why don't you give Mercury a ring & ask it's freephone 0800 781 4893. Or email the hotel & ask. Have a look on Tripadvisor too to find out about the hotel.
Good Luck!0 -
Hotel quality could make a big difference - for instance if it's all-inclusive, one might be steaks and champagne, the other might be squirrel and ribena.
Also, check - it may not be a 'package' but separates, which means you've fewer rights and less protection if there's a problem.0 -

Why don't you check out the hotel reviews for both on tripadvisor and see how they compare.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Thomas Cook book Mercury holidays nowadays they're no longer Mercury Direct just Mercury, they sell the holidays at the same price, they may even throw in a freebie if you ask ie airport parking, lounge or insurance etc. Then the travel agent will deal with the disability requirements.0

Thank you all, the reviews on trip advisor seem generally OK, the booking is flights, transfers and hotel, guessing it would be the same protection level xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Quite possibly not - it's worth checking if it's a 'package' or not, and then deciding if you want to accept the (admittedly not huge) risk. It means, for instance, if the flight was delayed by a day, you'd still be paying for the hotel night you didn't use which was a separate contract.0 -
I think Mercury only sell packages, our neighbour has been on around 5 holidays with them and as they are on holiday at the moment, I am storing their post and they have obviously set off for their latest brochures so they can't be too bad0
