My Google Chrome browser informs me that my bookmarks have been improved. Hmmm.
I still have my old bookmarks in the file structure I had them before, but any new bookmarks are added to a new folder called Other bookmarks  There used to be the option to specify where a new bookmark is saved, but now I can only choose Other bookmarks or the bookmarks bar. So much for "improved".
How do I add a new bookmark to my existing file structure? e.g. if I had a folder called travel, it could have subdivisions of car, bus, train etc so I'd want to put train timetables in train & bus tt's in bus etc.
This must just have been an auto update of Chrome because I haven't deliberately reinstalled or anything.
Thanks!

It's a great "improvement" isn't it? When I started using Chrome I imported all my favourites from IE & I've just been adding new ones to existing folders. I can't do that anymore so I've had to convert all my favourites to bookmarks. To be honest I can't remember how I did it! Just go to bookmark manager & play with it for a bit, it'll all work with some practice.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I really disliked the new bookmark manager.
This website explains how to disable this 'improvement', and return you to the previous, easily understood method.
