very little hot water pressure in my shower, cold water pressure is fine in the shower and both hot and cold pressure is fine in the taps etc. Plumber has advised as fitting a new pump hasnt improved hot water pressure, I need a Surrey flange fitting to my hot water cylinder
Does this sound right please?

I can confirm from many a night out in Guildford that the Surrey Flange is well worth it.
Infinitely superior to the Hampshire Flange0 -
It does. I fitted one when I fitted a shower pump. It's a relatively easy job.0

Thanks Gloomendoom
So you think fitting one will solve the poor hot water flow issue?
Thanks again0 -
Just make the first branch off the cylinder the shower pump . A flange won't make any difference to flow
It sounds like the pump should be a negative head itemHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

A flange can make a difference to the flow. If you take the supply from the top of the cylinder you will be drawing air into the pump which will affect the flow. A Surrey flange will stop this happening.0
