Morning :hello:
Thanks camelot xx Me too, he's decided he's super-confident now and is testing bounderies – well that's how it seems – and it's been a bit of a battle of wills lately.
Help meeee, I'm drowning in bits of paper and I have no idea where they all came fromMust go through them properly but I can't get my brain into gear at all.
It was quite cold yesterday but looks like it's going to be a nice day today. My hip is playing up, not sure why? I've given in and taken brufen, I'll also use some flexiseq cream. It's intended for arthritis, which I don't have, but it works well for me. The whole area relaxes then I can do my exercises properly. I've been putting most of my weight on my left leg when walking and the skin has split on my heelMoan moan moan, lol.
The washing's on the line, the chickens are happier in the warmer weather and the dog has done his morning job of rounding them upHe's lazing on the landing at the moment, in a sunny spot, waiting for me to finish getting ready so we can go out. Mrs LW That made me laugh, there's an ad on telly with a tiger - whatever he's doing, Scampi stops and watches. Quite relaxed and head slighty tilted, as if he's trying to work out what it is

I need to sort out the herbs, they're a bit messy. Both pots of coriander have died, I can never keep that stuff going properlyThe chives are doing well, I'll snip some off and make potato salad later, with the leftover ropey potatoes

Good morning chums, bright but a bit on the nippy side this morning.I'm having a 'pottering' day today no shoping to buy and just going to 'sloth out' a bit as I'm feeling a bit clapped out this morning
I dug half a dozen small chicken drumsticks out of the freezer last night so I'm going to coat them with some cajun spices and chuck them in the remoska to cook.won't take very long and will come in handy for a couple of lunches with sald bits this week.I came home from DDs with some left-over cooked veg from last nights dinner so will find something in the freezer to go with it I also had given me half a box of char-grilled mushroom pasta that DD had left over and she said she wouldn't use up.She knows I don't like to think of stuff being wasted and binned and I'm happy to use it up so win-win
So lots of bits to use this week in the fridge:) Good reason not to go anywhere near a shop until hopefully Friday at the start of a new month.
Hope you managed to get some rest over the weekend Elona I'm thinking of you and your family
Hope you all have a peaceful week
JackieO xxx
P.S. Looking for a good coleslaw recipe chums ,anyone got a nice one that they use I have a small white cabbage that needs converting this week:):)

Good Morning Everyone,
I do hope everyone is well but if not you have my very best wishes.
Looks like it's going to be a grand day so i will get all my laundry hung out on the line.
I have my usual Monday chores list to get through and its bathroom deep clean day today.
DS has a later start for work today so he will tackle the heavy chores for me, he is a good lad.
Roast chicken for tea tonight so i better tackle peeling the spuds before 12 as i really detest peeling spuds. If I don't peel them in the morning then we don't have them. Well i better go and make a start.
Have a great day everyone

Despite staying indoors I bought a couple of things online. Needed a rotary drier for the garden (lots of lovely wind here), got my ill and bed-bound friend an adult colouring book and bought another couple of second-hand books.
My day is done! Now just waiting for the postie to bring me three other parcels.0 -

Yep! Never get a moment's peace here... courier came with the bird peanut delivery and now got two roofers crawling around the steading and loft looking for where the water is coming in. Lucky I was up and about this morning.
Cup-of-tea o'clock now.0 -
Hello everybody,
it's gorgeous here as well but a bit cool out of the sun.I thoroughly enjoyed my dogwalking this morning, could see for miles.
Elona,my best wishes to you and your family (((hugs)))
DH rang our landlord on Saturday and gave a months notice so we are on countdown to moving again ( twice in 10 months is not recommended ) The renovation of our new house is coming along nicely upstairs but there certainly won't be a kitchen done-still I lived without one for several months in our previous house so we can do it again. We ordered the carpets for upstairs at the weekend so they'll be put in in about 2 weeks, then we'll move the wardrobes there and start to shift stuff over gradually over the following 2 weeks.
DS1 has just taken me to get some cheap plastic storage boxes as there is a big room in the loft that we are going to store stuff in until the rest of the house is finished.
The washing is out on the line again :jshould be nearly dry now.Shepherds pie for tea.DS2 and the children will be here.He picked up a dining set for 20 quid off gum tree, only round the corner from here so at least they can sit down to eat at his house now.
Well wishes to everyone & good luck for your op TA in case I dont get on again before Wed.Enjoy birdwatching.

Cup-of-tea o'clock now.
Roofers left after about an hour to get scaffolding, not come back yet though all their tools are in the barn so I'm hopeful that they'll be around tomorrow.
One of the peanut feeders is broken.
I also got my delivery of my new sheepskin slippers - couldn't even get my hand inside them! I can't imagine how a whole foot would go in, not narrow just thin!
It's been an interesting day.0 -
Camelot I clean the glass in my wood burner by getting a damp cloth and dip it in soot, it works like a charm, the old ways are the best ways.
Happy birthday Docky :bdaycake::bdaycake:
Another not too bad day today, managed to get the washing dry on the line, overcast now though.
Podiatrist wasn't happy with toe and told me to let the doctor have a look, it is now dressed and I have to keep my foot up, now on new antib's that will hopefully work on chest and toe

Good evening everyone,
A bit late getting on today. Went back to work today, was quite manic but at least I got through it and all the children got fed:D
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Docky, hope he got spoilt Mrs LW.
Elona, I do hope you and your family are taking care of yourselves.
DD and I went to the gym this afternoon. We just had fish and oven chips for tea, but I am organised for tomorrow and have made a vegetarian shepherd's pie, so will just have to heat it up tomorrow:)
Have a good evening everyone.SPC 11 #4450
