Creditcall Credit Reference error on Electoral Roll

Hi,
I have noticed that Creditcall Credit Reference Agency has error on Electoral Roll in that they have given me a middle name I do not have.
This person with the middle name was born on the same day and year as me and has an horrific credit rating, I know as his creditors regularly write and phone me chasing his debt, it has taken me 3 years to remove the A*hole from experian and Equifax, they both show my real Identity on the electoral role.
I contacted CreditCall and the basically said get lost our record are correct, obviously I put them straight.
So they have the wrong name, there is a risk of my credit history being messed up again, what can I co, can I take legal action?
Please advise.
Rob

Is it only callcredit that has this error?
Do experian and equifax show the correct information?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Can you ask them to check again against the date of birth as well, or are you really unlucky and that is the same too? I think all you can do is keep complaining to get them to change it. I'm not sure if there is a regulator you could go to if they still refuse to change it.MFW OP's 2017 #101 £829.32/£5000

He has already stated this:This person with the middle name was born on the same day and year as me0 -

Formal complaint with intention of escalating to FOS and ICO may be in order, methinks.💙💛 💔0

I am too have problems with Call
Credit. A credit card I've never taken out assigned on my file to an address I haven't lived at for 14+ years which they claim was taken out last year!
Similar, it's not in my Experian and the says credit card company have already said it's not me so am trying to get it removed urgently but Call Credit seem useless.0 -

That would be the way to go I think.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Agree with @CKhalvashi & @Fermi.
There are articles in the online press about how challenging it is to have errors similar to this corrected, irrespective of where the error originated (i.e the CRA or creditor).
Not wishing to alarm the OP, but it is worth reading other people's experiences on this topic and steeling yourself in preparation. Persistence & formally complaining to the ICO & FOS will be key.
