Adding more funds via balance transfer 2 months in

Hi
I have two credit cards.
Santander 0% 23 months £3000 balance with £3600 limit
tesco on interest £900 (don't know Apr. I pay £15 interest each month)
I'm paying £300 each month onto credit card. Clearing tesco first and then move to Santander (pay minimum to santander).
I'm thinking of maxing my balance transfer 0% balance so reduce the interest payable.
So I want to do a further balance transfer from tesco to Santander.
Just wondering whether the original 0% balance transfer offer will typically apply after 2 months in.
The staff weren't so keen on the big balance transfer when I joined. They weren'tupfront about tthe offer, did not ask about it on Web application nor did they provide the offer in print. I only found out from the original ad and proactively phoned them to get the promotion.
When I requested transfer of £3000 I could hear his jaw drop and said he wasn't sure if he was able to allow it. Then asked his manager who approved it.
So they're not too happy about it. I wonder if requesting more funds to transfer would rock the boat too much. After all credit cards can withdraw credit without a reasonable excuse or reason.

Maybe it would be best to ask to increase the credit limit first and then a few weeks later phone to transfer the balance. So they think I might still spend on the card. If I try to max the card on 0% BT they know for sure they're not going to make money from me for 21 months of the remaining balance transfer0

Very often 0% BT window is ~60 days, but I don't see anything about this at Santander.londonTiger wrote: »...
