British Energy Shares

Hi, new to this ,hope I'm in the right section. My wife has found 2 cheques from the restructuring of British Energy totaling about £40 dated Jan 2005. Any way she can still claim the money? Thought write to registrars but quick search reveals LloydsTsb Registrars of The Causeway Worthing to be out of business. John

If they are responsible for that cheque
    a) it is over 6 years since it was issued so outside the statute of limitations
    and
    b) their fees for re-issuing will probably be more than £40.
  • Thanks, not the news she wanted but thanks again, John
