Birmingham airport NCP car park 5

Hi,

I usually sort this very early when its cheap but forgot this year.

Need a couple of weeks parking in August, must be NCP car park 5 at Birmingham (formerly known as Long Stay)

Have been watching the price and its creeping up and up, best deal I can find is 10% cashback.

Does anyone remember what 'pattern' this takes? are they likely to do some offers nearer August to get the business in or will it just keep climbing?

Starting to lose my nerve. Thanks!

120 days before travelling is now the general cutoff point before you lose the early bird offer (it used to be 90). I'm signed up for emails from B'ham airport and NCP and occasionally get some promotional offers but I haven't been watching recently.

There is now Long Stay 4 which is located in the lower end of 5 closer to the airport terminal so don't expect to park as close to the terminal as you used to be able to. From 5 you can walk through 4 if you don't want to wait for the bus.

Some of the rates allow you to cancel. If you can get one of these for a decent rate it may pay you to get in now. Typically the rates increase closer to the departure date.

    Hope this helps.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thought about parking free near Coventry station and getting the train to Birmingham?

Train ticket about £3 return and journey time station to station is 9mins on the fast train. BHX rail station is 1 escalator ride away from monorail into airport. Far easier and cheaper than long stay parking IME.

Thanks, I know various other options possible but an early flight means a ridiculously early start as it is, and with kids to get up and everyone ready. Having to start any earlier to allow for travel just means everyone is so whacked first day of holiday is spoilt. Don't trust any of the offsite ones.

Lucky enough to be able to get to Long Stay in 20 minutes and walk into terminal. Suits me best and don't mind paying for that as its a holiday, just want the best deal. ;)

Thanks that is useful. Didn't know about 4, another money making ploy by NCP. I think your right although there is a big hike between flexible and non flexible I might book one now and wait and see.

I booked the holiday last September and remember checking then it was something silly like only £39 and thinking loads of time yet so didn't book. Silly me. :o

Just to resurrect my old thread, if anyone forgot to book when cheaper like me or has just booked a holiday, there is an up to 35% discount code + 10% cashback for NCP on Topcashback for today (21-05-2015) only.

I can't see them doing any better deals before the summer holidays but on the good idea above I booked fully flexible for £1 more so if a better deal comes up I can cancel the first one without penalty.
