Hey guys,
I had some trouble with Lloyds Tsb years ago. They did not change my payment dates etc as requested several times and various other things. In fact I actually sent them seven A4 pages of complaints and then complained to the Financial Ombudsman and the Ombudsman found in my favour. I thought that damned business was behind me but today I applied for a new bank account and got rejected, so I signed up to Experian. All my credit looked good but on both Lloyds accounts I have several months defaults (actually in some cases Lloyds have listed up to six plus defaults a month) and late repayments listed back in 2011 (the time of the dispute) which I think is the thing that kicked my score so low. I have asked for a note to be put on the file but I don't know what else to do really. I have worked so hard fixing that dispute, keeping my finances clean and my patience with Lloyds is spent to be honest. Has anyone got any advice?
Thanks peeps x

Could try and write to them with the FOS case details and ask them to remove the markers, might get lucky, hopefully someone with more experience can advise any formal ways of doing it
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Thanks. I will write to them and see if I can get them to see sense. Cheers 😊0
